You will receive more details from First Harvest Groundwork Card about the transition, including any action you may need to take. In the late Fall, be on the lookout for a new credit card in the mail. In the meantime, your current card will continue to work as usual.

Groundwork Card begins partnering with First Harvest. Behind the scenes, we're working to set up and transition your new card.
Late September 2025
Your new card will arrive in the mail.
October 2025
Your new card will be available to use. Register your card and create an online account, so that you can transition any payments to your new card. Destry your old one, as it will not work any more. Use your new First Harvest Groundwork Card!
No action is required on your part. Cardholders will receive a series of emails and letters in the mail communicating the details of this transition. Once your new plastic arrives in the mail, be sure to activate it in a timely manner and transition over any scheduled payments to the new card
Groundwork Card will not make a hard inquiry for your credit report as a condition of issuing you a First Harvest Groundwork Card.
Look for your new First Harvest Groundwork Card in the mail between September 2025 and October 2025. Until then, you can continue to use your First Harvest credit card anywhere Mastercard is accepted. New card issuance subject to your account eligibility, including being open and good standing.
You may continue to use your current First Harvest credit card until you receive your new First Harvest Groundwork Card in the mail. Once you receive and activate your new card, your current card will no longer be valid and should be destroyed.
Yes, your account number will change when you receive your new Card. Issuing a new card account number will assist us with a top priority of Card security. The new account number and expiration date will assist us in protecting your account from fraud. The three-digit CVV number on the back of your Card will also change. Note: Please be ready to contact merchants with whom you have recurring payments linked to your current Card. They will need the updated information of both the Card and CVV numbers on the new Card in order to process future charges. This applies to authorized users as well. An authorized user is granted access to another individual’s credit card account. The user has the same charging privileges as the primary cardholder but isn’t financially responsible.
Your new account number is your credit card number. If you do not have your credit card in hand, but have access to your statement, you are able to see your account number. Within the payment coupon portion of the new statement, there is a string of numbers. The first sixteen numbers contain your account number
The credit limit on your new Card will remain the same as that of your existing Card.
Please reference the Change In Terms sent to your mailing address to understand what’s changing with your card including your new Annual Percentage Rate. There may be changes to your APR (Annual Percentage Rate). Any balances you may have on your legacy First Harvest credit card at time of conversion will continue to accrue interest at the prior annual percentage rate. The new Annual Percentage Rate on your Groundwork Card only applies to any new transactions (including purchases, balance transfers and cash advances) on the card made on or after October 3, 2025.
Your due date may change. If you wish to select a new payment due date, you may contact First Harvest Groundwork Card at 1-866-614-0322 (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) after you receive the first statement with your new Card.
Welcome to your First Harvest Groundwork Card. The purpose of the envelope insert is to remind you that your new plastic can only be activated on or after Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, and that your existing credit card won’t work after the evening of Monday, October 6th. After October 6th, we want you to use your new card.
The notice also states that you’ll be getting a statement referencing your old credit card for any activity through October 2nd. If there is a balance due, you’ll need to register and log into the Groundwork Card portal to make a payment.
Regardless, it’s a good idea to register for online access to your Groundwork card. You can enroll for electronic delivery of your monthly billing statements, view transaction
details, set up payment choices, and access your monthly billing statements going forward.
Once you receive your credit card, you’ll have everything you need to set up your profile. Just go to portal.groundworkcard.com/enroll with your new credit card in hand. You’ll enter your new credit card number, along with some information for us to verify your identity.
Going forward, First Harvest will not be able to accept payments for your First Harvest Groundwork Card at branch locations. Instead, you can make payment through our online servicing portal (portal.groundworkcard.com) or by submitting payments to the address mentioned on your statement

Those payments will be flagged as exceptions and the processor will work with First Harvest Credit Union and Groundwork Card to ensure the payment is applied to your new account. The timing of the payment may be delayed by a few days or more, as the process is manual. The delay in processing your payment will also delay your access to available credit. Therefore, it’s important that you adjust to the new payment address in a timely manner when writing a check or making a payment through your Bill Pay provider.
You won’t be able to make a cash advance at the branch with the First Harvest Groundwork Card. If you’d like to perform a cash advance, you’ll need to first establish a PIN number. After receiving your First Harvest Groundwork card, you can establish a PIN number by calling 1-888-886-0083. When prompted, say “Select PIN” and follow the instructions. After your PIN is established, you can visit any participating ATM to perform a cash advance.
Once your new Groundwork Card converts from your previous credit card, all remaining points will move to your new Groundwork Card. You’ll be able to see your points within the online portal and you’ll be able to access the rewards site directly from the online portal.
In the interest of safeguarding your security, we require all First Harvest Groundwork cardholders to re-establish their payment choices. After registering for online access, you can choose the bank account you link to your Groundwork card, along with optionally choosing to autopay your card.
